Personal Set

So for set design class we had to create a space based one who we are. Preparing for this project reminded me a lot of the personal branding work that I last year in graphic design. So it was pretty easy for me to come up with a basis for who I am and what the design would look like. The challenge was to push it farther than just a realistic room. I ended up creating my own little section of country in the middle of city. The idea is kind of based off skyscraper farms, but then along with the garden, I have my laptop, camera and large format printer. I also added a hammock hanging from two palm trees in the corner. This space really does sum up who I am with the grass and kind of relaxed feel but it also has the digital elements thrown in showing creativity through technology.

Kicking off the Semester
